Ibiza and Formentera are known as the Pitiusas Islands meaning the ‘Pine Tree’ Islands. They have fascinating ports such as San Antonio and Ibiza Town, as well as areas of incredible natural beauty. Let us design a bespoke charter package of either one or two weeks to allow you to get the most from this fabulous destination. The sailing is amazing and a safe anchorage is never far away. Suitable for families with small children through to more experienced groups wanting a really special charter experience.
A beautiful anchorage not far from San Antoni surrounded by cliffs and pine woods. A tender ashore to the landing stage and you have a choice of bars and restaurants. And although often busy during the day, the beach is often deserted in the evening making for an idyllic first night under the stars..
Heading south you will pass close to the spectacular rocky outcrop of Isla Vedra. The island is shrouded in myth and legend and, Es Vedra, as it’s known is said to be the third most magnetic spot on the planet (after the north pole and Bermuda Triangle). A very special place.
Another fine place to drop the anchor overnight with good shelter offered by the deep and attractive ‘cala’. Great places to dine out or have a drink ashore. And later head back to Quiet Storm to be rocked to sleep..
Calla de Port Roig
A gorgeous ‘cala’ for an overnight stay. Russet cliffs surround the well protected anchorage. The shoreline is unspoilt and the charming fisherman’s huts on the eastern shore add rather than take away from the tranquil atmosphere. For the adventurous, a short dinghy ride to ‘Las Isletas’ delivers you to a very nice beach (naturist) and charming chiringuito.
We always make the effort to visit this group of islands off the southern tip of Ibiza during our charters as it always delivers something really special. There’s very little development and a relaxed way of life here, even in summer. The privately owned Isla Espalmador is a serene spot with a true ‘desert island’ feel. Go find your inner Robinson Crusoe.
